Ane Mens Beauty And Salon is situated on Pm Swamy Colony Road in the Rathinapuri area of Coimbatore. We are at Shop No 2, right near the Rathinapuri Bridge. If you’re heading that way, you can’t really miss the spot. It’s a place for men to come and get a haircut or a shave without having to go too far from home. The shop isn’t very big, but we’ve arranged the chairs so there’s enough room for a few people to wait. We see a lot of guys from the colony and workers passing through after their shifts. The bridge area is always humming with scooters and buses. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the radio and the clippers. We keep the floor swept and the combs in the blue liquid like always. It’s a regular routine, opening up early and staying until the last person leaves in the evening. There’s no big fancy marketing here, just a sign outside and some chairs inside. We talk a lot about cricket or whatever else is on the TV while we work. It’s a comfortable place where you don’t have to act a certain way. People just come in, sit down, and tell us what they need. We’ve been at this for a while and the neighborhood feels like home. It’s just a honest day's work for us at the salon.
