Time Kids Pre School

Working at Time Kids in Tirupati is quite different from a regular school because the children are so small. We are located at 18-3-53/3 in Khadi Colony, which is a residential area, so it feels a bit more like a home than an office building. The rooms are filled with colorful mats, plastic toys, and small chairs that fit the little ones. Every morning starts with the sound of children crying when their parents leave, but that usually turns into singing or playing after a few minutes. We have a small outdoor area where they can run around, though we have to watch them every second so they don't trip. The walls are covered in alphabet charts and hand-painted pictures that the kids made themselves. It’s a very noisy place, but it’s a happy kind of noise most of the time. We spend a lot of our day helping them with their snacks, making sure they take their naps, and teaching them basic things like how to hold a pencil. The Khadi Colony neighborhood is fairly quiet, so we try not to let the kids scream too loudly when they are playing outside. By the time parents come to pick them up in the afternoon, the place is usually a bit of a mess with toys scattered everywhere. We just tidy it up and get ready to do it all again the next day.
