Chubby Cheeks Pre-School

Running a pre-school like Chubby Cheeks on Chittoor Road keeps us all pretty busy from Monday to Friday. We are right here in Tirupati, and being on the main road means parents can drop their toddlers off on their way to work. It’s a small place, really. We have some colorful walls and basic toys because that’s what kids that age need. It’s not about being fancy, it’s about having a safe spot for them while their parents are busy. We spend most of our time cleaning up spills or helping kids with their lunch boxes. Sometimes the noise level gets quite high, especially around ten in the morning when everyone is awake and playing. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. The floor gets a bit scuffed from all the shoes, and we are always looking for where the missing puzzle pieces went. Chittoor Road is usually crowded, so we make sure the front gate is always locked tight. It’s just a normal part of the day. We don’t do big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or their neighbor’s kid came here before. We have a small outdoor area, but mostly we stay inside where it’s cooler. It’s just a simple preschool life. We show up, look after the little ones, and head home when the last parent arrives in the afternoon. Every day is a bit chaotic, but we manage.
