Srihanth English Medium High School

Srihanth English Medium High School is situated right near Di Road, very close to the Pudi Railway Station. Because we are so close to the tracks, we often hear the trains passing by during our classes. At first, it is a bit distracting, but after a few weeks, the students and teachers do not even notice the noise anymore. It is just a part of our daily life here in Chittoor. The school building is straightforward, with a small entrance and a few rows of classrooms. We keep a lot of old wooden cupboards in the office to hold all the records and student files. The floors are stone and they stay relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We have a water cooler in the corner of the veranda where kids line up during the breaks. Our staff is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from teaching science to fixing a broken chair. We do not have a big playground, so the kids mostly play in the open space near the gate. It can get a bit crowded when the parents come to pick them up in the afternoon. We try to keep things orderly, but with so many children, it is always a little noisy. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the kids learn their lessons properly so they can move up.
