Montessori College Of Education

This college is situated at 11-15-A in S V Nagar, right here in Tirupati. We have been here for a good while now, helping people who want to become teachers. It’s a quiet enough area which is good for studying. We have classrooms where the students spend most of their time learning about how to work with kids. Most of our students come from the local towns and villages around here. They travel back and forth every day on the buses. The building is practical and does what it needs to do. We have some basic materials for the Montessori method so the students can practice with their hands instead of just listening to lectures. It’s not just about reading books all day. We talk a lot about how to manage a classroom and what to do when things get difficult. The staff here are mostly experienced teachers themselves who decided to help the younger generation get started. We don't use any complicated systems, just regular schedules and face-to-face learning in the rooms. Sometimes the students sit outside in the shade during their breaks to eat their lunch. It feels like a small community where everyone knows each other's names. Tirupati is a busy place but inside these walls, it’s mostly focused on the work at hand. We see a lot of people come through who are nervous at first but get more confident as the months go by. It’s just a place for learning the trade of teaching.
