Chaitanya Play School

Our school is located right on Gandhi Road, specifically at number 7-4-8 in the Varadaraja Nagar area. It is a smaller setup because we mainly focus on looking after the younger children who aren't quite ready for the big primary schools yet. The building is easy to spot if you are walking down the street. Inside, the rooms are mostly filled with plastic building blocks, some soft mats for nap times, and various posters stuck on the walls. It gets quite noisy in the middle of the morning when everyone is playing together in the main room. We spend a lot of our time just managing the energy levels of the little ones and making sure nobody bumps into each other. The floor is covered in foam tiles so it is safer if someone trips over a toy. We have a small paved area out back where they can run around for a bit when the weather isn't too hot. Most families living nearby in Varadaraja Nagar know our staff because they see us out there every day during the pick-up and drop-off times. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small desk near the front door where we keep the registers and some spare pens. The days go by very fast with all the singing and the drawing activities they do. We try to keep everything organized but with toddlers, there is always some kind of mess to clean up once they go home. It’s just the way things go here on Gandhi Road.
