Little Orchids International Pre School

Our little pre-school is tucked into the Motor Workers Colony in Tirupati, right in the Padmavathipuram area. It’s a place for small children, so you can imagine it gets pretty loud and messy sometimes. We spend our mornings welcoming the toddlers and trying to get them settled into their activities. There are lots of toys around and we try to keep the rooms as bright as possible. We have a small yard where they can run around for a bit before the sun gets too hot. Most of the people working here are from around Stv Nagar, so we know the local families well. It’s a lot of work looking after kids this age, making sure they eat their snacks and don't wander off. We don't have any big corporate backing; it's just a local spot for early learning. Sometimes we have to deal with scraped knees or lost lunchboxes, but that’s part of the job. We keep the gate locked and watch the clock for pickup time. The parents are usually in a hurry when they drop the kids off on their way to work. We just try to make it a comfortable place for the little ones while they are away from home. It's a simple operation where we focus on the basics of playing and learning together. We've been doing this for a while and the days go by quickly when you're busy with children.
