Raithashakthi Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is set up in Devigere village, which is over in Hosadurga Taluk in Chitradurga. If you know the area, we are located right near the Vssbn Society building. It’s a busy little spot for the local folks. We formed this company because many of us in the village were tired of trying to figure out everything on our own. Farming around here has its ups and downs, especially with the weather in this part of Karnataka. We mostly focus on helping each other with seeds and selling what we grow. It’s a group effort, really. Sometimes the meetings get a bit loud when everyone has a different opinion on how to do things, but we usually figure it out eventually. We aren't big business people, just neighbors who decided to pool our resources together under the Raithashakthi name. The office is just a simple place where we keep our papers and talk to the members. Most days you’ll find us out in the fields or near the society building talking about the next crop cycle. It gets dusty and hot here, but we are used to it. We just want to make sure the farmers in Devigere get what they need without having to travel too far or deal with too many middlemen. It’s a straightforward way of working that seems to suit our community better than the old way of doing things separately.
