Chitradurga Banjara Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is located at No.212 in Bevanahallibharamasagara. We run the Chitradurga Banjara Farmer Producer Company Limited from this small office. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or big signs. It’s just a room where we get together to figure out how to manage the crops and the sales. Most of us here are from the surrounding villages. We know what it's like to work in the sun all day, so we don't try to act like we’re something we aren't. We deal with the paperwork and the distribution and the thousands of small things that pop up every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. We don’t have any big marketing plans or glossy brochures to hand out. We just have our names and our word. It gets busy during the sowing season and everyone is a bit stressed, but we manage to get through it. The address is easy enough to find if you’re passing through the village. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to make sure the folks here have a fair shot at selling what they grow. It takes a lot of effort and we make mistakes sometimes, but we keep at it. That’s about all there is to tell about us really. It is just a bunch of us working hard together.
