Challakere Kissan Agro Producer Company Limited

Our office is located in Sanikere, right opposite the police station here in Challakere. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of Chitradurga, so we aren't hard to find. We are a group of local farmers who decided that working as a collective was the best way to manage our harvests and get better prices for what we grow. The building itself is just a functional space where we store some supplies and keep our books. There is nothing fancy about it—just a few desks, some chairs, and usually a lot of talk about the upcoming weather or the price of groundnuts. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields or at the local markets, so the office isn't always full, but someone is usually around to help. We handle a variety of crops depending on the time of year. It’s a hands-on business where we deal directly with the people we've known for years. We don't use any big marketing words because we don't need them. Our reputation is built on being honest and showing up every day to do the work. Sometimes things are a bit unorganized when a big shipment arrives, but we always figure it out. It is a local operation through and through, run by people who actually know how to farm. We’re just trying to keep the farming community in Sanikere strong and making sure everyone has what they need to keep their land productive.
