Our small office is tucked away in the Mallikata Centre over in Kadri. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise outside the window. We run Maanikka Farms from here, though most of the actual work happens out on the land away from the city. We chose Mallikatta because it's easy for people to reach us. It’s just a simple setup, a couple of desks and a lot of folders. We deal with the day-to-day logistics of running a farm business. It’s a lot of phone calls to vendors and checking on transport trucks. Sometimes the traffic in Kadri makes it hard to get things moved on time, but we make it work. We aren't some massive agricultural firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us trying to keep the farm operations running smoothly. We handle everything from seeds to final sales. The paperwork can be a real headache some days. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. People around the center know us as the farm guys who are always coming and going. It’s not glamorous work, but someone has to do it. We spend our lunch breaks at the local spots nearby. If you need to talk to us about the produce or the land, the office at Mallikata Centre is where we handle the business side of things. It's a practical arrangement for us. We just sit here and process the orders as they come in. There is no point in making it more complicated than that.
