Kuppalli Kuvempu Farmers Producercompany Limited

We are based in a place called Holekoppa, near the Basavani Post in Thirthahalli. It is in the Shivamogga district, pin code 577432. Our company is under the care of Ravindra H M. We named it after Kuvempu because this area is very proud of that connection. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means we are a group of neighbors working together. The landscape around here is very green and we grow a lot of different things. Our office is more like a house where we meet up. It is not a corporate building with a lobby. We spend our time talking about the crops and how to get them to the market without losing too much money. Thirthahalli is a beautiful place, but farming here has its own set of problems with the heavy rains and the hills. We try to help each other out with equipment and knowledge. It is not a fancy operation. We do not have a website with lots of photos or a big marketing budget. We just know our soil and our trees. Sometimes we meet under a porch if the office is too stuffy. We are just local people trying to make the farming business work a little better for everyone in the village. If you come by Holekoppa, you will probably find someone drinking coffee and talking about the weather. That is just how we do things.
