Our day starts early before the sun gets too high and the trucks start piling up. It’s a lot of checking manifests and making sure the loading is done correctly. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of cement on. It’s a straightforward business. We get the cement in, we get it out, and we try to keep the mistakes to a minimum. There’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning up a spill or fixing a gate. It’s just how we live and work in this part of Chennai.
