Annachi Cement Works

Our shop, Annachi Cement Works, is located at 1/852 on Perumbakkam Main Road. We are right near the bus stop, so there’s always people walking by or waiting for their ride. It's a busy little area of Perumbakkam. We started this place because it was a convenient spot for people in the neighborhood to get what they need. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just sell cement. The shop isn't very large, so we have to keep things stacked pretty high to fit everything in. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for the delivery trucks to pull in safely, but we make it work. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we just walk to work every morning. You’ll usually see one of us sitting out front when things are quiet and the trucks haven't arrived yet. We know most of the bus drivers and the regulars who wait at the stop. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or polished signs. Our name is just painted on the wall where people can see it. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s a real business run by real people who care about their work. We deal with whatever challenges the day brings, like the heat or the rain getting into the yard. We’ve been here a long time and plan to stay.
