Aarkay And Bros is located at 2/1334, Sholinganallur Main Road in Perumbakkam. If you know this road, you know how the traffic gets, especially during the rush hours. We spend a lot of our day just watching the cars go by while we handle the daily tasks. The building is an older one, but it works for what we need. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of shelves and some old wooden desks where we keep the ledgers. We don't use much fancy software; a lot of things are still written down by hand in big books. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we all know how the other person works. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, and we have to put sandbags by the door, but we manage. Perumbakkam has changed a lot since we first got here, with new buildings going up everywhere, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We have a routine of opening up early, checking what came in the night before, and getting things ready for the people who stop by. It’s not a quiet place because of the main road, but you get used to the noise after a few days. We keep some cold water in the back for anyone who walks in feeling the heat. It is a simple life and we are happy with it.
