Zara Fashion

We are located over at Kasturba Nagar in Adyar. It’s the 1st Main Road, so it's quite easy to find if you're in this part of Chennai. The shop is called Zara Fashion. It's a modest place. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know the stock well. Chennai heat is something else entirely, so we try to keep the shop as cool as possible for whoever walks in. We spend most of our time folding clothes and putting them back on the wooden shelves. People in Adyar are usually in a bit of a hurry, so we try to be quick with the bills. We have all kinds of stuff on the racks. It’s not a high-end boutique with velvet chairs or fancy mirrors. It’s just a regular shop where you can find something to wear for the day. We get our shipments regularly and there's always a bit of a mess on the floor when the boxes arrive. We have to clear some space to sort through everything. It’s a bit chaotic but we manage to get it done. The street outside is usually busy with traffic and people going to the train station. We’ve been here long enough that we know many of the faces passing by. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the door for some air. That’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just a local business in 600020 doing its best to keep the shelves full.
