Haja Fancy

Haja Fancy is a small shop at No. 460 Th Road in Old Washermanpet. We are right near the Pandian Bus Stop, so we see hundreds of people every day as they wait for their bus or walk home from work. Our shop is packed with all kinds of small items and fancy goods that people might need. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have so many things on the shelves and even hanging from the ceiling. We have been here for a long time, and we know many of the faces that pass by our door. Old Washermanpet is a very busy and noisy part of the city, and we are right in the middle of it all. We don't have a big corporate plan or any fancy advertisements. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who comes in. Sometimes a customer will stay and talk for a long time, and other times it is just a quick sale. The shop gets quite warm in the afternoon, but we have a couple of small fans that help a bit. We enjoy being part of the community and providing the little things that people look for. It is not a complicated business, but it keeps us on our feet and we like the daily interaction with our neighbors and the commuters.
