Win (India) Exports

If you ever find yourself on Egmore Casa Major Road, you might pass by number 72. That’s where we are. Win (India) Exports isn’t a huge operation, just a dedicated group of us working out of an older building. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first moved in, with more cars and new shops popping up everywhere. Our office has a lot of old wooden furniture and some ceiling fans that have seen better days. We do a lot of packing and checking lists. It gets pretty humid in the afternoons, so we usually keep the windows open, even if the street noise gets a bit loud. We don’t really bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just show up, see what needs to be shipped, and get to work. Sometimes there are delays with the shipping companies, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to figure out where a crate went. It can be frustrating, but that’s just how the export business goes. We have a small kitchen where someone is almost always making coffee or tea. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so they don’t mind that our office looks a bit lived-in. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a showroom. We just want to make sure the boxes get where they’re supposed to go. It is a simple life here, focused on the daily tasks and making sure no one forgets a signature.
