Wilson Engineering Works

Wilson Engineering Works is located at No-21 on Mogappair Road in Mannurpet, near Padi. It’s a busy road with a lot of traffic going back and forth all day. Our workshop is right there, and it’s usually quite active from the early hours. We do various types of engineering jobs, mostly small-scale stuff for other businesses. The place isn't very big, and we have to stack things carefully to make sure we have enough room to move around. We don't really have a front office, just a small desk where we keep the bills and the phone. Most of the time, we are out back working with the lathes or the welding equipment. The neighborhood of Padi is very industrial, so we fit right in. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. Our floor is concrete and often covered in metal shavings. We just focus on getting the specs right. The team is small, and we’ve all been doing this for a long time, so we know our way around the machines. We get a lot of walk-in work from people in the Mannurpet area. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit of a mess, but we still open up and get to work. It’s just a normal engineering shop where we try to do a decent job every day without any fuss or corporate nonsense.
