Honest Engineering

At Honest Engineering, we spend our days at Plot No. 2 on Athipet Main Road. We are based in the Ambedkar Nagar area of Ambattur. It’s a very industrial part of town, which suits the kind of work we do. We have some lathes and milling machines in the shop, and there's usually the sound of metal being worked on. The floors are often a bit oily, but that’s just the nature of an engineering workshop. We don't have a fancy office; we usually just sit on stools or around the workbench when we're not running the machines. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us who have been doing this for years. We take on various mechanical jobs that people bring in. Sometimes it’s a small part that needs fixing, other times it’s a larger project. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the heavy vehicles heading into Ambattur. We've been in this spot for a long time and the neighborhood hasn't changed much, still lots of small workshops like ours. We don't use any high-tech marketing. People find us because they know we’ve been here at Plot No. 2 for ages. It’s a simple life, working with our hands and making sure the parts we make are what the customer asked for. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just one that gets the job done correctly.
