You can find Uni-Tech Engineering Co. on Armenian Street, right across from the High Court. The building numbering is a bit confusing because it is New No. 21 but also Old No. 10. We are located on the ground floor, which makes it easy for moving heavy equipment or parts in and out without having to deal with stairs. Armenian Street is an old part of the city, and you can feel that in the architecture and the narrowness of the lanes. Being opposite the High Court means there is a lot of activity throughout the day, mostly people in black coats and folks waiting for their cases. Our engineering shop is a contrast to the legal world across the street. We deal with technical drawings, machinery, and various metal components. It’s a workspace first and foremost, so it is organized for efficiency rather than looks. The ground floor stays relatively cool despite the heat outside, which is nice during the summer months. We have a small crew here, and most of us have been working on Armenian Street for years. We know the local tea stalls and the best times to get deliveries through the narrow street before it gets too blocked up. It’s a steady kind of life, working on engineering projects and keeping the machinery going. We just do our work and let the city bustle on around us. It’s a good spot for a business that’s been around as long as we have.
