Nathans Engineering

If you go down Chavadi Street in Korattur, you will find Nathans Engineering at number 2. We are right there at the start of the street. It is a typical engineering shop. There is usually the sound of metal hitting metal or machines running in the background. We have been here for years, and the walls show it. They are a bit stained with oil and grease, but that’s what happens when you work with machinery all day. We do a lot of custom fabrication and repair work. People bring in broken parts or sketches of things they need built. We aren't a high-tech automated factory. We use our hands and older machines that still work perfectly fine. The floor is usually a bit messy with metal shavings. We try to sweep up, but it never stays clean for long. Our team consists of a few experienced guys who have been doing this since they were young. We don't have a website or a sales team. Most people just know us by word of mouth in Korattur. It’s a practical business. We fix things and we make things. Sometimes the heat in the shop gets pretty intense during the summer months. We just drink some extra water and keep going. It isn't a fancy setup, just a reliable place where you can get engineering work done without any fuss. We just try to make sure the stuff we build stays together and people seem to appreciate that.
