Elan Exim

Elan Exim is located at No. 25 Railway Station Road in West Mambalam. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It’s a sound you eventually stop noticing after you’ve worked here for a few months. Our office is a simple place where we manage our export and import business. West Mambalam is a busy neighborhood, and there are always people walking past our door on their way to catch a train. We have a small team here, and we mostly focus on getting the paperwork right and making sure the logistics are sorted out. The office itself is a bit cramped, with papers on almost every surface and a few chairs for when visitors drop by. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to track where things are and when they will arrive. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes we step out onto the road just to get some fresh air and see the crowd. We’ve been at number 25 for a while now, and it feels like home to us. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, do the work that needs to be done, and then head home like everyone else. It’s a regular local business in a busy part of the city. We keep it simple and practical.
