Besant Betons

Besant Betons is located right on Swaminath Street in West Mambalam. We are at number 90/2. It’s a busy street, like most of Mambalam is these days. We deal with concrete and building stuff. It isn't a clean job. There is usually some dust on our shoes and the desks. We’ve been here in this neighborhood for a long time. People around here know us for the practical work we do. We don’t have a fancy office with leather chairs. It’s mostly just a place where we take orders and coordinate the trucks. Dealing with construction means things don’t always go exactly as planned. Sometimes the rain slows us down, or a delivery gets stuck in the narrow streets around here. That’s just part of the business. We talk to contractors and homeowners who are trying to fix up their places. It is a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. My brother and I run the daily operations mostly. We grew up around this kind of work, so it feels normal to us. We don't spend money on big signs. Our name is on the wall, and that’s about it. People find us because their neighbors used us before. If you walk down Swaminath Street, you will see us. We are usually busy with something, but we always have time to talk about a project. It’s a local business through and through, nothing more.
