M. M. Trading Company

M. M. Trading Company has been operating out of Saidapet for a good while. You can find us at No. 8/16 Bujangar Street, which is just off Alandur Road. It’s a busy little corner of the world. There’s always someone moving something or a truck trying to squeeze through the street. We’re used to the chaos by now. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s packed with stuff, from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels like we are playing a game of Tetris just to get to the back of the room. We don't have a lot of fancy systems. We write things down, we talk to the people who come in, and we get the trading done. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. The humidity in Saidapet can be tough in the summer, but we’ve got a couple of fans that do the job well enough. Most of the people around here know us by name. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do right by the folks who walk through our door on Bujangar Street. If the tea is hot and the orders are moving, it’s a good day for us. We just take it one morning at a time, seeing what needs to be traded and who needs what. That’s really all there is to it. No big speeches or complicated plans, just the daily grind in Saidapet.
