Mas Concrete Blocks

Down on B Sundaresan Street in Rajaji Nagar, you’ll find us working away. We are pretty close to the Pallavaram Railway Station, so you can often hear the trains passing by while we’re moving things around. Mas Concrete Blocks is a place where things are heavy and hands get dirty. It’s at No. 5, and it’s basically a yard full of materials and a small covered area for when it rains. We don't have a lot of office space because most of what we do happens outside. It’s physical work, and it can be quite tiring when the sun is out in full force. We’ve got stacks of blocks everywhere, and the trucks come in and out all day long. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s the sound of loading and the hum of engines. Most of us here prefer it that way. We aren't the type to sit behind a computer all day. We like being out in the air, even if it’s dusty. Sometimes we have to move things twice because we ran out of space, which is annoying, but that’s part of the job. Being near the station is handy for people trying to find us. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know our faces. We just keep doing what we do, making sure the orders are ready and the yard stays somewhat tidy.
