Sumi Traders

Sumi Traders is located up on the first floor at No. 39 Dhamodaran Street. It is right off the Gandhi Nagar Main Road in Ekkatthuthangal. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the traffic outside. Our office is a bit small, mostly filled with boxes and old ledgers. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking what has come in that morning. It is a trading business, so things are always moving in and out. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much when we have a lot of deliveries, but we manage. We are not a big corporation. It is just a local operation where we know the neighbors and the delivery guys by name. Some days are quiet, and other days we cannot seem to catch a break with the phone ringing. We do not have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It is just a place to get the work done. Usually, one of us is out checking on stock while someone else stays back to handle the walk-ins. We have been in Ekkatthuthangal for a good bit now, and we have seen the street change a lot over the years. We keep things simple here. No big speeches or complicated systems. We just buy what is needed and sell it to the people who ask. It is a basic way to earn a living, and it works for us.
