Kabeer Brothers

We are Kabeer Brothers, located on the first floor over on Kasi Chetty Street. Our address is a bit confusing because of the old and new numbers, but it’s New No. 19/2. Kasi Chetty Street is always buzzing with people and noise, which we've grown used to over the years. Our office is up the stairs, away from the main bustle of the street level. We’ve been in this trade for a long time, following in the footsteps of those who came before us. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we don't have a big corporate structure. We just talk to each other and get the work done. We deal with various items, mostly wholesale stuff that comes through the market. Our desks are usually covered in notebooks and invoices. We don't really have a website or do much on social media. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past the building. It’s a tight space, but it’s ours. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the work a bit slower, but we keep going. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big offices. We just want to do our business fairly and be able to come back tomorrow. It’s a simple life here on the first floor. There's always tea going in the afternoons and some shop talk with the neighbors. It gets loud outside, but we like it.
