Welcome Imports & Exports is based at C - 3/13 Serene Acres in Thoraipakkam. It is a bit different from the crowded city centers because it is tucked into a more residential-feeling area. We have been working from here for a while, handling the various bits and pieces that come with international trade. It is mostly us sitting at our computers, making calls, and tracking containers that are halfway across the ocean. Thoraipakkam has changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings going up, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We don't have a big storefront because most of our work happens through emails and phone calls anyway. The office is comfortable enough for what we need. We don't go in for the polished corporate image because that isn't really who we are. We are just regular people doing a job that involves a lot of logistics and patience. Sometimes the internet goes down or a shipment gets stuck in customs, and those are the days when things get a bit frantic. But mostly, it is just a steady flow of work. We handle both imports and exports, which keeps us on our toes since the rules seem to change every other month. It is a practical business run by people who live nearby and just want to get the work done without making a big scene out of it.
