Vivekanandha Sarees

We are located at Old No. 26, which is now New No. 12, on Melony Road in T. Nagar. Most people around here still use the old numbers, so it can get a little confusing for newcomers. Vivekanandha Sarees has been part of this street for quite a while now. T. Nagar is always buzzing, especially with people looking for sarees, so we fit right in. Our shop isn't the biggest on the block, but we fill every inch of it with stock. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding fabric because people like to see the patterns properly. It’s a lot of manual work, and our arms get tired by the evening, but that’s the nature of the saree business. Melony Road has its own pace, and we’ve grown used to it. We don't bother with fancy displays that look like they belong in a mall. We just put the sarees out where they can be seen and handled. Usually, it’s just us and a couple of helpers keeping things going. We have regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened at this spot. We don't use any complicated systems. It's mostly just pens, paper, and keeping track of what we have on the shelves. It is a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us here in T. Nagar and we don't see any reason to change it.
