Random Selections

Random Selections is a small shop located at No. 56 Dr. Ambedkar Street in Krishnamoorthy Nagar. The name pretty much tells you what to expect when you walk through the door. We have a bit of everything, and things are often tucked away in corners or stacked on high shelves. Dr. Ambedkar Street is a typical local road where everyone seems to know each other. The shop isn't very large, so we have to make use of every inch of space we have. You might have to move a few things to see what is behind them, but that is part of the experience of coming here. We don't use any fancy inventory systems or high-tech gadgets to run the place. It is mostly just us keeping track of what people are looking for and trying to keep the shelves filled. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, and the floor has some scuffs from years of people walking in and out. During the rainy season, we have to keep the door partially closed to keep the water out, but otherwise, we are open and ready for whoever stops by. It is a simple life running a shop like this. We talk to the neighbors, handle the sales, and tidy up as much as we can before closing for the night. It is not a glamorous job, but it is our way of making a living in Krishnamoorthy Nagar.
