Raajs Devaraagam

We are based in the Chandirka Complex, which is on Mandapam First Lane in the Kilpauk area. Our spot is right near the local water tank, which is the landmark we usually give to people when they are trying to find the office for the first time. Being in Kilpauk is quite nice because it is fairly central, but our specific lane is much quieter than the main roads nearby. Various things related to music and local events are what we do, mostly focusing on the cultural side of the business. The office is small and usually filled with stacks of papers and maybe a few musical instruments leaning against the walls. It is a very informal and relaxed environment for us. We do not wear suits or have long meetings with PowerPoint slides. Usually, just sitting around with some coffee and talking about what needs to be done for the next show is how we work. Organizing schedules and making sure the artists are ready and on time takes up a lot of our effort. Sometimes things go wrong, like a performer getting stuck in traffic, and we have to scramble to get it sorted out. That is just the way it goes in this line of work. Having been here for a while, we have built up a good network of local people. Most folks find us through the music scene.
