Neha Label

We have been here at Plot No.18 in the Vyasarpadi Industrial Estate for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Sharma Nagar, always filled with the sounds of machines humming and trucks backing in. Our day starts early, usually around eight when the shutters go up and the first round of tea is shared among the guys. Neha Label is basically about getting labels out the door, nothing fancy, just steady work with the rolls and ink. The humid weather here in Chennai can be a bit much sometimes, but we keep the machines running anyway. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know who handles which machine best without even asking. We don't spend much time on fancy offices or desks because most of the action is right there on the shop floor. When someone walks in looking for a specific type of sticker or tag, they usually find us covered in a bit of dust or ink. It's a practical life. We focus on the rolls of paper and the cutting edges, making sure things are lined up right. Sharma Nagar has its own pace, and we just fit right into it. Some days are loud, some are a bit slower when we are waiting on a material delivery, but mostly we just stay busy with the orders on the table. It’s just us, some heavy machinery, and a lot of labels to finish before the sun goes down.
