Sri Lakshmi Vilas

Sri Lakshmi Vilas has been part of Sowcarpet for a long time. Our shop is at No 97 on Amman Kovil Street. It is right across from the Amman Kovil temple, which means it gets really busy during festival times. You can find us in the Kondithope area. Chennai is always hot, and this street is no exception. It is narrow and filled with people and bikes all day long. We have been here doing our work in this same spot for years. The building is old, and we have not changed much about how we do things. It is a simple place. We do not have fancy decorations or big signs. Most people find us just because they are walking by or they live nearby in Sowcarpet. We start early in the morning to get everything ready before the sun gets too high. There is always a lot of noise from the street, but we are used to it by now. It is just the way life is in this part of town. We are not trying to be anything we are not. We just keep the doors open and do our work. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the temple and we are right there. It is a humble setup, just a few of us working together to keep things moving.
