The office for Nehomes is located right near Virugambakkam, which is a busy area to be in. We deal with property matters, so we are often coming and going throughout the day. The traffic around here can be a real headache in the evenings, but it means we are right where the activity is. Inside the office, it is mostly just us looking at maps and checking on different sites. We have got some maps pinned to the walls and a few stacks of folders that really need to be filed away properly. It is a typical workspace with a bit of a mess here and there. We do not really have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we talk to them at our desks. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up some paperwork, and we will order some food from the place around the corner. It is a small team, so we all know what everyone else is working on. We do not use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just help people with what they need in the housing market around this part of Chennai. It gets a bit noisy with the horns honking outside, but we are used to it by now. The air conditioner is a bit old and rattles, but it keeps the heat away. It is just a normal office where we do our work.
