Vinayakam Agency is tucked away at No 356/100 on Bharatha Matha Street. If you’re in East Tambaram, you might have passed us without even noticing. We don't have a big neon sign. It’s just a simple door and a small counter. We’ve been operating here for a long time. The street is mostly houses, so it feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. We handle various goods and distribution for local shops. It’s not a complicated setup. We have a few shelves and a small desk where we keep the records. We don't use any high-tech systems. A lot of our business is done through phone calls and people walking in. We know the milkman and the newspaper guy. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a mission or a grand plan. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. Some days are very quiet, and we just clean up the place. Other days, we have trucks arriving and it gets a bit hectic. We don't mind either way. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy talk. We just provide what people order. The walls have some cracks and the floor is worn out from years of walking, but it’s our space. We like the familiarity of it all. It’s a good, quiet life in Tambaram, and we are happy to be part of it.
