Vigneshwara Cellphone Training Centre is at No 56/1 on Arunachalam Naicken Street in Chindatripet. It’s a small place, tucked away in one of those narrow, busy streets where you see lots of small shops and businesses. We focus on teaching people the practical skills needed to fix mobile phones. If you come inside, you’ll see workbenches covered with all sorts of tools like tiny screwdrivers, magnifying glasses, and soldering irons. It’s very much a hands-on environment. We don’t do much in the way of long lectures or fancy presentations; we mostly just get right into taking phones apart and putting them back together. Students sit around the tables and learn how to replace broken screens or fix internal parts. It’s often a bit messy with old circuit boards and spare parts lying around, but we know where everything is. The street outside is usually crowded with people and bikes, which gives the place a real local feel. We’ve been here for a while, and many people from the neighborhood know us. It’s a straightforward business. We teach a skill that can help someone find a job or start their own repair work. There’s no big reception desk or waiting area, just a place where you come to learn by actually doing the work. It takes a lot of patience to work with such small parts all day, but it is a good trade to know.
