We’re over here at the Samutra Apartments on MPM Street. It gets pretty loud around here in the mornings when the students start coming in. Most of us have been here for years now. We spend most of our time dealing with classes and making sure the junior college runs okay. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular school building where we try to get through the syllabus. Sometimes the traffic on the street makes it hard to hear ourselves think, but you get used to it. The staff room is always a bit of a mess with papers everywhere. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and the office staff trying to keep things moving. We see a lot of kids pass through these doors. Some stay in touch, most don’t, and that’s just how it goes. If you’re looking for the place, it’s T4, and Sreedharan is usually around the building. It is a bit unusual for a school office, but it works for what we need. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the schedule. There’s always someone coming in with a question about admissions or exams. We just handle it one day at a time. It’s a busy life here in Chennai, especially with the heat in the afternoons. We just keep the fans going and get the work done. The name on the gate is Skns Pmc Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College, so come on by.
