Srm Deemed University

This office is located at No. 8 on Gandhi Street in Lakshmipuram. It’s right in the Chrompet area of Chennai-600044. If you’ve ever walked down Gandhi Street, you know it can get pretty busy with people. We are part of Srm Deemed University, but this specific spot is where we handle the day-to-day administrative stuff. It isn’t a massive campus with fields, just a practical building where the staff works. We see a lot of students and parents coming by with questions about forms or schedules. The Chennai heat is usually pretty strong, so we keep the fans going all day. We have a few computers that have been here for years, but they still work well enough for what we need to do. People here are usually busy typing or answering the phone. It’s not a quiet library environment, more of a regular working office. We have our little routines, like the morning coffee and the late afternoon check of what got finished. We don’t have a big corporate lobby with leather chairs. It’s just simple desks and lots of folders. Being in Chrompet means we are close to the railway station, which makes the commute easier for everyone. We just try to keep things moving and help out whoever walks through the front door. It’s straightforward work. No one here is trying to impress anyone with big words. We just handle the paperwork and keep the records as they should be for the university.
