Vasan Export & Imports

We are located at No. 19/54 Manavalan Street in Vetri Nagar. It’s a typical residential street that has a few businesses like ours tucked into it. Vasan Export & Imports has been here for a good number of years now. Our office is right on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to just walk in when they have something to deliver or pick up. We have a couple of desks that are usually covered in manifests and customs forms. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we have a system that works for us. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down when the big trucks come to load up. Usually, the morning is spent on the phone, and the afternoon is for the physical work. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their job. We don't really have a boss who sits in a separate room; we all just work together in the same space. Sometimes we get caught up in long conversations with the delivery drivers about the state of the roads or the weather. It makes the day go by faster. We like the community feel of Vetri Nagar. It feels more like a home than a cold office building. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, making sure the imports and exports are handled without too much fuss or extra cost.
