S. M. I. Leathers

We've been here on Vepery High Road for a while now. Being in Periamet, you get used to the smell of leather and the constant movement of goods. Our place is on the first floor at 54/127. It isn't a fancy showroom, just a spot where we get our work done every day. Mostly, we deal with leather materials and see what people need for their projects. The stairs are a bit narrow, but we manage. Some days are quieter than others. When it rains, the street gets a bit messy, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend a lot of time sorting through stock and talking to people who come by looking for specific pieces. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of history in this trade. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People mostly find us because they know the area or someone told them we were here. We keep the fans running all day because it gets quite warm inside. There’s always coffee being shared around ten in the morning. We just try to keep things organized and make sure we know where everything is kept. It’s a simple setup, really. No big corporate offices, just us working in Periamet, trying to finish the day's tasks before the sun goes down and the traffic picks up too much.
