Bab Leather

You will find Bab Leather over at 143, Sidco Industrial Estate in Thirumudivakkam. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. It is a noisy place with trucks coming in and out at all hours. Our space is dedicated to leatherwork, and it is mostly just a large floor with various stations for cutting and treating the material. We do not have fancy carpets or expensive paintings on the walls. It is a practical workspace meant for production. Getting out to Thirumudivakkam can be a bit of a drive, but it is where the work gets done best. We have a crew that has been with us for a while, and they know their way around the hides. We do not spend much time on social media or trying to look cool. Our focus is purely on the leather we are processing. If someone calls, we answer. If there is a problem with a shipment, we fix it. It is a very direct way of doing business. The environment is utilitarian. We keep our tools sharp and our work area organized enough to function. There is no corporate ladder here, just people doing their jobs. We like the honesty of manual work. It is tiring sometimes, but it is satisfying to see the finished product ready to be sent out. We are just a regular fixture in the Sidco area.
