The Kraft

The Kraft is located over at No 14 on EVK Sampath Road in Vepery. Vepery is one of those parts of Chennai that feels like it’s been there forever. Our shop is just a simple place on the street. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a room where we work and show what we have. Most days, you’ll find us just sorting through things or talking to people who happen to wander in. We chose this spot because it’s central and easy for people in Vepery to get to. It’s not a big mall store with bright lights and uniform staff. It’s just us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the shelves are a bit crowded, but it feels like home. We don’t really believe in those fancy marketing slogans you see everywhere. We just want to do our work and go about our day. People around here know us by name, which is how we like it. The road gets busy with traffic during school hours, so it’s always lively outside. We’ve been here at No 14 for a while now and have seen many shops come and go. We just keep doing what we do, keeping it practical and honest.
