You can find our workshop at No. 4 Perianna Meistry Street on the high road in Periamet. This is an area known for leather, so we fit right in with the surroundings. Our work isn't the cleanest or the easiest, but it's what we know how to do. We spend our days tanning and finishing hides. The smell of leather is something you get used to after a while, though visitors sometimes find it strong. It’s a very physical job. We have machines for the finishing, but a lot of it still depends on looking closely at the skins. The building is old and shows its age, but it serves our purpose well enough for now. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or air conditioning. It’s just a place of work. Periamet is always crowded with trucks and carts moving goods around, and our street is no different. We just keep our heads down and get the batches finished. Some days the leather doesn't take the finish quite right and we have to start over, which is frustrating. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a few of us making sure the leather is ready for whatever it's going to be used for next. We take the raw materials and do our part of the process until the day is over and we lock up the gate for the night. There is always more to do tomorrow.
