Visvas Exports & Imports is situated at Plot No. 263- A, 7th Main Road in Vijayanagar Velacheri. Being in Velacheri means we deal with a lot of traffic, but it also means we are right in the middle of things. The office on 7th Main Road is where we spend the bulk of our week. It is a functional space with just enough room for our desks and the equipment we need. We handle both exports and imports, so there is always something different happening, even if the office routine stays the same. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a map. We have been at this address for a while and have seen the neighborhood grow around us. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just have to sit and wait or work on whatever we can do without the computers. It is a regular job with regular people. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big shiny office. We just focus on the shipments and the paperwork that goes with them. The walk from the main road to the office is short, which is nice. We usually bring our own lunch and eat together at the big table in the middle of the room. It’s not a corporate environment by any means; it feels more like a small team just trying to get through the day's work as efficiently as we can.
