Udhaya Fashions

Our place is right on the Vanagaram Mettukuppam Main Road, specifically at No. 1/7A. It's a busy stretch of road, so there's always noise from the traffic. We started Udhaya Fashions because we wanted a simple shop near home. We mostly deal with everyday clothes that people around here actually wear. It’s not a high-end boutique or anything like that. Just a regular shop with racks of stuff. Sometimes the lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we know where everything is kept. We get new bundles of stock every few weeks, and it takes us a day or two to get it all sorted out on the hangers. My brother handles the billing while I talk to the customers who come in. We don't have a website or anything fancy. People just see the board while they're driving past and stop their bikes. The floor is tile, and it's easy to sweep up at the end of the day. We have a small trial room in the corner that we built ourselves. It’s tight, but it works fine for what's needed. On rainy days, the water tends to pool a bit near the entrance, so we keep a mop handy. We like being part of the Vanagaram area. It’s a good mix of people. We stay open late most nights because that's when the workers are heading home and want to pick something up for their families.
