My office is tucked away in the Asha Tharang Apartments on Babu Rajendra Prasad 1st Street. It’s on the second floor, unit A6. West Mambalam is a really busy neighborhood, especially since we are so close to the Mambalam Railway Station. If you are looking for the place, it’s right opposite A.M. Mansion. It can be a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to these streets. I’ve been working from this spot for some time now. It’s a residential building mostly, so it’s got a different feel than a big commercial complex. I like that. It’s quieter than the main road. I don't have a big staff. It's mostly just me and a couple of helpers. We keep things simple. There isn't any corporate jargon here. We just sit down and get the work done. The room is filled with books and papers everywhere. It’s a bit cramped but it’s efficient for what I need. Most of the people who come to see me are from around Chennai. They appreciate that I don't charge extra for fancy office space. It’s just a practical setup for the kind of work I do. Being near the station is great for people taking the train. I’ve lived in Chennai all my life and I like this little corner of West Mambalam. It feels real and grounded here.
