V. G. P. Garments

V. G. P. Garments is located on Anna Salai in Lakshmi Nagar. We are right opposite the Lakshmi Nagar bus stop, which makes it very easy to tell people how to find us. The address says Old No. 2 but New No. 50, which can be confusing for the mailman and the delivery drivers sometimes. We are in the Porur area. It’s a busy spot with buses coming and going all day long. You can hear the conductors shouting from our front door. Inside, we have stacks of garments ready for distribution. It’s a functional space, nothing fancy at all. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long to keep the heat down. The floor is plain concrete and we’ve got some old wooden tables for folding and sorting the clothes. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big advertisements. We just do the work and let the items speak for themselves. The staff has been with us for a long time, so we’re more like family. We know the regulars who catch the bus right outside every morning. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, right here in Porur. Sometimes the traffic noise makes it hard to hear on the phone, but we manage. We have an old clock on the wall that's always five minutes fast and a small desk for the ledgers.
