Our small food business is tucked away on Erikarai Street in Kurinji Nagar, right in the Perengudy area of Saidapet. We go by Uyirvalam Foods Agro Llp, and we have been operating out of this spot at No 3A for a while now. Most of what we do involves handling local food supplies and making sure the quality is decent before anything goes out to customers. It gets quite busy around the 15th Cross Street, especially in the mornings when we are getting things ready for the day. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of workers. It is just a handful of us trying to run an honest shop. The building we are in isn't much to look at, but it serves our needs for storing and packing everything. Kanchipuram has a lot of history with agriculture, and we try to stay connected to that through the items we source. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the weather makes things difficult, but that is just how the food business goes. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks here. We just talk to our neighbors and do our jobs. Living and working in Tamil Nadu means dealing with the heat and the rain, but we have gotten used to the rhythm of the seasons. It is a simple life focused on real food and keeping things moving. We hope the work we do at 103 Erikarai Street makes a small difference.
