You can find us on the 1st Floor of the Royal Building, which is number 23 on Anna Salai in Saidapet. This is where we handle the local side of things for Ultratech Cement Ltd. It’s a busy part of town, and the office is usually buzzing with people coming in to talk about orders or distribution. Being on Anna Salai means there is always noise from the street, but we don't mind it much anymore. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at delivery schedules. This isn't where the cement is actually made, but it's where all the planning happens to get it to the sites. We have a small team here. We know the local contractors and the shops that stock our bags. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when there’s a shortage or a big shipment is coming in, but we just take it one day at a time. We don't have any big corporate mission statements hanging on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars, maps, and stacks of invoices. People drop by to drop off payments or ask about pricing for their new projects. We try to be helpful and give them the info they need quickly. It’s a straightforward operation. We’re just here to make sure the cement gets where it needs to go in this part of the city without too much trouble for anyone involved.
